FAMEXEL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Version: 1.0
Effective Date: 17 October 2026
Last Updated: 17 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of FameXel, an Android photo and video editing application.
Please read these Terms carefully before using FameXel.
By accepting the Terms through the application's agreement screen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, select Decline and do not use the app.
1. FameXel Services
FameXel provides tools for creating, editing, saving, and exporting photos and videos.
Features include media importing, trimming, splitting, filters, effects, adjustments, stickers, text, overlays, audio editing, voiceover recording, background editing, person segmentation, Cutout, and draft projects.
FameXel version 1.0 is free and does not include advertisements, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid export charges.
Features may vary by Android version, device, and media format.
2. Eligibility and Acceptance
FameXel is intended for users aged 18 or older.
You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms.
If you use FameXel on behalf of an organization, you must have appropriate authority.
Accepting these Terms does not replace Android permission requests or separate consent for person-processing features.
3. License to Use FameXel
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use FameXel for lawful personal and commercial photo and video editing.
This permission does not transfer ownership of the application's protected software, branding, source code, or proprietary assets.
You must not unlawfully reproduce, distribute, resell, or impersonate FameXel or falsely claim affiliation with its publisher.
Open-source license rights and applicable statutory exceptions remain unaffected.
4. Your Content and Ownership
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your imported photos, videos, audio, text, and other content.
FameXel does not automatically acquire ownership of your original media or edited projects.
You authorize the processing needed to perform the editing, preview, project-saving, and export functions you request, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
These Terms do not grant FameXel a general right to sell your original media, use it for advertising, or train publisher-operated AI models.
You remain responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions for content you import, edit, or distribute.
5. Edited Photos and Videos
You may save, share, publish, and commercially use your edited FameXel outputs to the extent that you have the necessary rights.
FameXel does not automatically grant you rights in third-party music, photos, videos, trademarks, performances, or other protected materials.
You are responsible for obtaining any required permissions for your intended use.
6. FameXel Intellectual Property
The FameXel name, original branding, logo, app icon, software, source code, original interface artwork, documentation, and original editing assets remain protected to the extent of rights lawfully held by their respective owners.
You may not unlawfully reproduce or redistribute proprietary FameXel assets as a competing application or standalone product.
Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.
These Terms do not assert ownership of public-domain materials or claim registered trademark status without registration.
7. Stickers, Filters, Effects, and Editing Assets
FameXel includes stickers, filters, effects, backgrounds, and other editing assets.
To the extent FameXel holds the necessary rights, you may incorporate these assets into edited photos and videos and share or commercially use the resulting outputs.
This does not automatically authorize extracting and selling protected sticker libraries or proprietary asset collections separately.
Third-party licenses and legally protected rights continue to apply.
8. Media and Storage Permissions
FameXel requests applicable Android media and storage permissions to support photo, video, and audio selection, importing, editing, project management, and saving completed exports.
When you save an edited photo or video for the first time, the app may request the applicable storage or media permission required by its workflow and Android version.
Legacy storage permissions apply only to the Android versions permitted by the app manifest.
You may deny permissions, but dependent features may not function.
For exact permission details, refer to the FameXel Privacy Policy.
9. Microphone and Voiceover
FameXel requests microphone permission when you use voiceover recording.
You are responsible for recording audio lawfully and respecting other people's privacy and recording rights.
Recorded audio may become part of your locally saved editing project.
10. Notifications and Foreground Processing
FameXel uses applicable Android notification and foreground-service capabilities for user-initiated export and media-processing operations.
The app declares foreground-service permissions, including media-processing and special-use capability.
These permissions do not independently grant rights to collect or disclose your private media.
Their implementation and use remain subject to Android platform and Google Play requirements.
11. Person Segmentation and AI-Assisted Editing
FameXel includes optional person-aware editing features, such as Text Behind Person, Sticker Behind Person, applicable background effects, portrait adjustments, and Cutout.
These features may analyze selected images or video frames to generate person masks, foreground boundaries, landmarks, and related editing information.
The inspected implementation uses bundled Google MediaPipe models for on-device inference.
Google MediaPipe Tasks separately sends technical performance and utilization metrics to Google, as described in the Privacy Policy.
FameXel does not represent original photos or videos as being uploaded to Google for segmentation inference.
Separate consent
FameXel requests a separate project-specific decision when you first intentionally activate a covered feature.
Selecting Agree & Continue permits the requested covered editing action.
Selecting Decline prevents that new protected activation.
Existing person-aware effects may require further processing during draft thumbnails, preview, playback, or export.
The current Reset editing consent control applies to future covered feature activations and does not automatically stop every processing operation associated with previously saved effects.
This limitation does not remove applicable privacy rights or the publisher's legal responsibilities.
12. Third-Party Software and Services
FameXel uses Android platform services and third-party components to support editing and related operations.
Relevant components and providers include:
Google MediaPipe Tasks: Provides on-device person-processing functionality and associated SDK technical metrics.
Google DataTransport / CCT: Supports technical transport associated with observed SDK logging.
Android and Google platform services: Provide permissions, media access, notifications, foreground processing, storage, and potentially backup/device-transfer functionality.
Media and gallery providers: Allow users to select or access media, subject to provider behavior.
User-selected sharing services: Receive exported files when you choose to share them.
Font and emoji providers: May provide or download resources through Android platform mechanisms.
Third-party media libraries and codecs: Support decoding, encoding, rendering, and other media operations, subject to their licenses.
Some providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
FameXel is not the operator of independent third-party services, but remains responsible for its own app and applicable SDK integration obligations.
Nothing in these Terms overrides open-source licenses or legally required attribution.
13. Project Drafts and Deletion
FameXel allows you to save unfinished editing projects as drafts.
Drafts and associated editing information are stored locally or reference selected device media.
Deleting a draft removes it from the app's draft list and invokes FameXel's project-deletion workflow.
Deleting a project does not necessarily delete original gallery files, completed exports, files shared with third parties, Android-managed backups, or every residual derived file.
You should maintain independent copies of important media.
14. Music and Third-Party Content
FameXel may allow you to import music, audio recordings, and other media from your device.
You are responsible for obtaining any required copyright, recording, distribution, or commercial-use permissions.
FameXel does not grant blanket rights to third-party copyrighted music or media.
15. Prohibited Use
You must not use FameXel to create or distribute unlawful content, non-consensual intimate material, unlawful harassment, deceptive impersonation, unlawful surveillance, copyright-infringing material, or malware.
You must respect applicable privacy, copyright, trademark, and other laws.
These obligations do not transfer FameXel's own legal compliance responsibilities to you.
16. Privacy and Data Processing
FameXel's handling of media, project data, Android permissions, SDK metrics, third-party services, backup, and deletion is described in the FameXel Privacy Policy.
Accepting these Terms does not replace separate consent required for particular processing activities.
Third-party services may have their own privacy and retention practices.
17. Availability and Updates
FameXel may receive feature improvements, maintenance updates, or changes.
We do not guarantee identical performance on all Android devices or uninterrupted availability.
Media-processing results may vary according to source content, device capabilities, and supported formats.
Changes remain subject to applicable law and commitments made to users.
18. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FameXel is provided on an "as available" basis without additional guarantees of uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, or perfect editing results.
You should review edited photos and videos before publishing or relying on them.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer protections or legally required remedies.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FameXel's publisher is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses outside its legally attributable responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or mandatory statutory duties.
FameXel remains responsible for its own legally attributable acts and omissions.
20. Copyright and Rights Complaints
We respect intellectual property and privacy rights.
If you believe that FameXel content or a relevant feature infringes your rights, contact us with sufficient information to identify the concern.
Email: famexel.editor@gmail.com
We will consider appropriate requests in accordance with applicable law.
21. Ending Your Use
You may stop using FameXel, delete available drafts, or uninstall the app.
Uninstalling does not automatically delete previously exported media, shared content, or backups maintained by third-party providers.
Ending use does not remove accrued legal rights or obligations.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms when features, policies, or legal requirements change.
Updated Terms will be made available through the app or official website.
Where required, material changes will involve appropriate notice and renewed acceptance or consent.
23. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory consumer and privacy protections.
Disputes may be brought before courts or authorities having lawful jurisdiction.
You may contact us to seek an informal resolution without giving up available legal remedies.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
